Sandy: Welcome to Beyond the Challenge.

Kevin: My name is Kevin Dougherty and I’ve spent almost 20 years helping insurance carriers find the best talent. 

Sandy: My name’s Sandy Dougherty, and I have over 20 years’ experience in operations. Twice a month, you’ll hear mind-blowing interviews with top insurance and financial service leaders as well as actionable tips and strategies that you can implement in your own organization. Kevin, let’s tell everyone a little bit about the type of executives we’re gonna be interviewing.

Kevin: Well, we will be talking with insurance executives from many of the top carriers as well as different distribution executives and top producers.

Sandy: Our guests will be sharing everything from what keeps them up at night to the biggest opportunities they see for the insurance marketplace in the next few years.

Kevin: We will also be talking with them about subjects that they are truly passionate about, like diversity and inclusion, the insurance gap, how they are dealing with the aging workforce, how technology and transformation is keeping them relevant, and how to grow bottom line profit in a new virtual selling environment. 

Sandy: Kevin, I’m really excited about getting this podcast started.  What’s the biggest takeaway you’ve gotten from the interviews that you’ve done so far?

Kevin: I’ve been surprised by the depth of the information that they’ve shared, sharing advice that others can use in their own career. Sandy, what have you taken away from the interviews that you’ve conducted?

Sandy: You know, the biggest thing I found is how they really wanna share their experience and best practices. They’ve been so open and honest and they really care and they’re really passionate about the subjects that we’ve been talking about, and it really comes across in their answers that we get.

Kevin: Sandy, who do you think would get the most from these podcasts?

Sandy: Great question, Kevin. You know, some of the people are probably gonna be business leaders, that could be in any organization, those in financial services, CEOs, CFOs, really producers, all the people that are looking to, I’m gonna say go up in the world, those are looking for a way to do things better, best practices, those are all gonna be great people and I think they’re all gonna get a lot out of this podcast. You might be asking yourself how did we get into this podcast series. Kevin, can you tell us a little bit about your background with Global Corporate Leaders?

Kevin: Global Corporate Leaders focuses on executive search, finding the best talent in the particular roles or the particular parts of the country. We try to find world-class talent.
